New Jersey Auto Bill Update

March 7, 2025

Today, the auto bill spearheaded by USWU to bring fair pay to auto technicians for warranty jobs in New Jersey passed the Assembly of Consumer Affairs Committe. While there is still a lot of work to do, this is a very big first step in the right direction, and we will continue to fight for auto technicians to be paid fairly!

Thank you to Chairman Sampson of the Consumer Affairs Committee for passing this bill and advocating for auto technicians across New Jersey.
